As per latest notification dated 9.16.2016, of Haryana New and Renewable Department Energy Audit is mandatory for the consumers having connected load of 100 KW or contract demand of 120 KVA and above including Commercial Malls, Plaza’s, Hospitals, Institutional Buildings, High Rise Buildings, Municipal / Govt. buildings, Water supply departments, etc. They can have the audit done by BEE Certified Energy Auditor (5yr Experienced)
All existing and new consumer of power located in Haryana having connected load of One Mega Watt (MW) or above including open access consumers shall mandatory get their first detailed energy audit conducted by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Accredited Energy Auditors Firms / Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) within Eighteen (18) months from the date of its notification. Thereafter, these Consumers, within two years, shall take necessary action for implementation of recommendation of energy audit report and shall furnish to the new and renewable energy department, Haryana.
Along with every consumer of Power located in Haryana having contract demand of 10 MVA or above shall get energy audit conducted by an Accredited Energy Auditor, in accordance with BEE Regulations, 2010.
The Govt. of India/State Government incentives/subsidy shall be provided to the interested Building/Unit owners as per prevalent scheme/guidelines through New and Renewable Energy Department, Haryana.
Audit shall be conducted in cycle of 3 year for each Designated Consumers (DC’s).
In Case Of Non-Compliance Of These Directions, The New And Renewable Energy Department, Haryana May Impose And Recover Penalty As Fixed By State Govt. On Expiry of 3 Years from the Date of Notification Issued (9.11.2016).
